This is a medieval sword I made. I wanted to experiment with workflows in blender. My workflow for this project was to make the lowpoly assets first, then use them to generate the highpoly base with modifiers. I really liked using Bevel and Subdivision modifiers together, which gave me more control. A thing I wished to do differently would be to keep some of the bevels for the low poly version, as that gives more depth to edges. For the high poly I also sculpted it, where I bumbed up subdivision and then remeshed it to my liking.
